Ethiopian Artist Hailee Araya is about to release her second single titled »Diaspora Blues »
Hailee Araya is an Ethiopian Swedish singer songwriter born and raised in Lund. She was attracted to music from a very early age and quickly learned the piano, which she played for several years and still uses to composes her songs. Hailee then began guitar lessons and is now taking on the drums and completely dove into music the moment she was in a position to do so.
As the title indicates the song is about a Diaspora love, longing and pride of her heritage.
Hailee is born and raisd in Sweden but we have always kept our Ethiopian heritage alive in our home.
Her first single titled « Rid you Of My Love » was released in december 2011 and doing doing quite well.
Hailee does so much want to connect and get her music known in her home continent Africa and amongst African Diaspora worldwide.
