Cubreme promotes the use of natural organic yarns in the production of classically influenced contemporary garments, which transcend fashion trends emphasizing the genuine legacy of style.
The company use fibres from Merino sheep, llamas, guanacos and vicuñas bred in their natural habitat in the Patagonia’ and Cuyo’ Andes.
The textiles are made with plant fibres such as chemical free cotton grown in the North East of Argentina by small producers. Land management techniques aim at protecting the environment whilst fulfilling the nutritional requirements of the rural communities. This proposal falls within a framework of sustainability and environmental responsibility that supports a social model of autonomy and equity.
The fabrics are woven in manual looms to a ‘Haute Couture’ finish produced by family run tailors. Our products are thus manufactured with a minimal production line, using renewable resources, actively and voluntarily contributing to social, economic and environmental improvement at all stages of production.
