The Munich Designer, AlineRiemerschid, loves extraordinary accessories that are not only beautiful but also practical. Out of her passion for accessories and the desire to create individual pieces “Made in Germany“, she decided to found her own accessory label Etosha in 2007 after a diploma in clothing technology and several years of freelancing work experience for well-known brands such as forEscada and Bogner for instance.
Unique design and haptic
The handmade handbag collection by Etosha offers classical and extravagant design for women and men. With a devotion for soft leather like lamb nappa, the Etosha creates uniquehandbags with sensuous haptic.
“Colors, above all,are kept discreet like earth, stone, black and slate and can be found in combination with bright red, yellow, petrol and blue accents. These distinctive color combinations andits animal prints foster stylish sophistication”, says Aline.Moreover, the designer enjoys creative experiments with diverse leather types such as ostrich leg, nil tilapia or sea snake.

Beside the handbags, Etoshaincludes other exclusive accessories in its collection portfolio. Last but not least, Aline reveals that during a trip though Namibia and South Africa, the ideas for an own label crossed her mind and began to grow. She fell in love with the width and peace in the “Etosha frying pan” what eventually became the name for her original accessory label.
