The brand, Fée Uhssi was founded in the UK in 2010. It is an ethical and multicultural fashion label offering limited edition clothing-accessories. Since the launch of the brand has been showcasing work and collections in over then 20 fashion shows over the past 2 years including the London African Fashion week 2011, Fashion Finest London Fashion Week Show, Fashion Capital Shows, Afro Hair and beauty Show 2012 to name a few.
Fée Uhssi’s unique designs are created by mixing natural and high quality fabrics ethically sourced in Africa and Europe. The Ede Aso Collection which means day & night offers convertible, reversible and multi-function designs, inspired by and based on Art of Wrapping.
Those designs are achieved by experimenting different ways of draping and wrapping fabrics around the body, developing patterns and cuts working on the use of simple shapes such as squares, rectangles, circles and triangles, focusing on making the most of colours and prints and high quality fabrics used. Ede Aso is all about versatility, transformation, metamorphose. With the Ede Aso collection, Fée Uhssi is aiming to offer timeless garments easy to mix and match with the usual pieces that each women got in her wardrobe. It is also all about offering a range of long lasting and sustainable clothing-accessories, therefore easily designed for a busy woman on, and to fit the natural and varying shape of the female form, garments that can be worn by women from size 8 to 18 with no discrimination. With this range, Fée Uhssi hopes to inspire women to learn to love their own body, and understand what suits them and will make the best of their shape, and feel powerful and beautiful!
